Process

How It Works

From first inquiry to final installation — a structured workflow built to reduce handoff mistakes, specification errors, and cross-border delivery uncertainty.

Every stage has a confirmation step. Every confirmation step exists to lower the risk of the next one.

Why Our Process Works

Cross-border projects fail at the handoffs.

Our process is designed so that every handoff — design to drawings, drawings to factory, factory to freight, freight to installer — happens with confirmation in writing, not assumption.

Fewer handoff risks

Design, drawings, factory, packaging, and export are coordinated under one roof — not handed across vendors.

Design lock before production

Production never starts on assumptions. Specs and drawings are confirmed in writing before tooling.

Quote based on confirmed scope

No guesswork pricing. COZI reviewed quote packages are prepared after layout, materials, and service model are confirmed.

100% pre-assembly testing

Every cabinet is fully assembled and QC-checked in our Guangdong factory before being packed for export.

Delivery with documentation

Packing list, shipment documents, QC records and a clear handover so local teams understand what arrives and who is responsible.

Process Overview

From inquiry to installation in six confirmed stages.

The same backbone applies to every Cozi engagement — whether you start with a single render or a whole-home cabinetry package.

01

Initial Project Review

Share role, market, city, project type, floor plan, site photos, room list and contact details.

02

Information Check

COZI checks missing information, material direction, service boundary and the correct next step.

03

Design Lock

Cabinet specs, materials, hardware, drawings, and revision scope are confirmed before production pricing.

04

COZI Reviewed Quote

Reviewed quotation prepared after drawings, materials, production scope, and service boundary are checked.

05

Production & QC

100% pre-assembly testing in our Guangdong factory before packing.

06

Delivery / Installation Path

Malaysia and Thailand can include installation support; other markets are normally supply-only or local-partner installation.

Project Review Process

What you provide. What you receive. What we do.

Every review step is designed to lower the chance of wrong scope, unclear materials, unstable pricing or production surprises.

01
Day 0

Initial Fit Check

You provide
Your role, target market, city, project type, rough room list and current pain point
You receive
A quick answer on whether COZI is a fit, plus the right next step
We do
Confirm if you need partner support, sample direction, a project review, or a full supply quote.
02
Day 1-2

Information Check

You provide
Floor plan, site photos, cabinet dimensions if available, finish preference and budget direction
You receive
A missing-information list and a clearer quotation path
We do
Check whether the project is ready for quoting or needs drawings, material samples or scope clarification first.
03
Day 3-7

Scope Direction

You provide
Preferred cabinet system, hardware level, finish direction and any client-approved drawings
You receive
Material and hardware direction that can be shown to your client
We do
Help turn a vague request into a cabinet supply scope your team can explain and sell.
04
Day 7-14

Technical Review

You provide
Approval on layout direction, cabinet scope, materials, hardware and site constraints
You receive
Production-risk notes and a practical supply path before full pricing
We do
Review buildability, packaging, installation responsibility and the information needed before production.
05
Day 12-16

Technical Confirmation

You provide
Final approval on drawings, materials, hardware, quantities, service boundary and payment terms
You receive
A written Design Lock / Scope Lock confirmation
We do
Convert the agreed scope into production-ready inputs so pricing and manufacturing are based on fixed information.
06
Day 14+

Quote / Partner Handover

You provide
Decision on order path: sample, partner pack, pilot project or production order
You receive
Reviewed quotation direction, required documents and the next action list
We do
Hand the project into supply, sample preparation or partner onboarding without restarting the conversation.
Cabinetry & Export Process

A delivery process built to survive the border.

Cross-border cabinetry doesn’t fail in the factory. It fails in the gaps between design, production, packaging, and installation. Each step below exists to close one of those gaps.

01
Day 0–1

Initial Estimate & COZI Review

You provide
Floor plan, site photos, hand-drawn measurements, room list, target market, and contact details
You receive
Quote No., Project No., Initial Estimate, information completeness score, and missing information checklist
We do
Create an AI-assisted recognition structure and backend rule estimate, then route the project to COZI Review.
02
Day 2–7

Design / Scope Requirement Form

You provide
Project owner details, site constraints, preferred materials, appliances, and must-have requirements
You receive
Requirement form, scope owner assignment, and follow-up for missing details
We do
Prepare the design and quotation team for drawing, material and service-boundary review.
03
Day 7+

Design Lock & Reviewed Quote

You provide
Approval on reviewed drawings, materials, add-ons, service boundary, and payment terms
You receive
COZI Reviewed Quote, Bill of Materials direction, and Contract Price after Design Lock
We do
Confirm the reviewed scope before contract pricing and production start.
04
Pre-shipment

100% Pre-Assembly Test

You provide
Nothing — this is on us
You receive
Photo documentation of every cabinet assembled and inspected before packing
We do
Fully assemble every unit in our Guangdong factory. AI-assisted parts verification helps reduce missing component risk before shipment.
05
Day 35–60

Export Packaging & Shipment

You provide
Balance payment before shipment
You receive
Tracking number + full customs documentation package
We do
Export-grade packaging, shipment coordination and delivery documents based on the agreed market path.
06
Post-arrival

Delivery & After-Sales Support

You provide
Local installer for supply-only markets, or site coordination when Malaysia / Thailand installation support is agreed
You receive
Installation references, remote support, defined spare-parts or claim process where applicable
We do
Stay involved after delivery while keeping the agreed service boundary clear.

Installation Support · Malaysia / Thailand

Install support is available where the site and scope fit.

COZI can discuss installation support for Malaysia and selected Thailand projects after reviewing city, site access, measurement responsibility, delivery timing and project scope. Other countries are normally handled as supply-only or local-partner installation markets.

Design coordination

Drawing, material and scope review with clear confirmation before production.

Production & shipment

Pre-assembly testing, export packaging, packing list and shipment coordination handled by COZI.

Local installation coordination

Malaysia and Thailand install support is evaluated by city, site conditions and project size.

Completion sign-off

Installation and after-sales responsibility are confirmed in the project terms before work starts.

Clear responsibility

COZI defines which parts are handled by factory, freight, local installer and client before commitment.

Reduced project risk

Built for dealers, designers and contractors who need predictable handover instead of unclear promises.

Collaboration Models

How we usually work, by market.

Same factory. Same QC. Different collaboration models — matched to how each market actually runs cross-border projects.

US / Canada
🇺🇸 🇨🇦

Compliance-first discussion before any cabinet sourcing

Start with product category, state / province, broker or compliance advisor status, and documentation requirements. Do not treat this as a casual bulk export market.

Malaysia / Thailand
🇲🇾 🇹🇭

Cabinetry supply with installation support where suitable

Installation support is discussed after city, site access, scope and local coordination are reviewed. Malaysia is the core market; Thailand is selective by city and project.

Australia / New Zealand
🇦🇺 🇳🇿

Supply-only path for builders and cabinet makers

Focus on metric drawings, packing clarity, installation manual and local installer responsibility. Compliance and biosecurity documents must be checked before orders.

UK / EU
🇬🇧 🇪🇺

Designer-led B2B and documentation-first review

Start with traceability, low-emission material thinking, packaging, timber rules and local installation responsibility before discussing bulk supply.

Let’s plan your project step by step.

Send us your floor plan, inspiration images, target market, and rough room list. We’ll come back with a recommended starting scope, a planning reference, and a clear next step — no obligation.
