Terms of Service
Last updated: June 7, 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Cozi · Custom Cabinets & Design ("Cozi", "we", "our", or "us"), operating at cozicabinet.com. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full.
These Terms apply to website inquiries, project review, partner inquiries, design support, cabinetry supply, production, export handover and agreed installation-support services.
2. Service Descriptions
2.1 Interior Design Services
We provide project review, scope clarification, material direction, design support, drawings, quotation preparation and related documentation as described on our Services and Pricing pages. Deliverables, timelines and pricing are specified in individual project quotes or agreements.
2.2 Custom Cabinetry Export
We supply custom cabinetry and whole-home woodwork packages through our China-side manufacturing and project coordination system. Malaysia and Thailand may include installation support when site, city and scope are suitable. Other countries are normally handled as supply-only, local-partner installation, compliance-first or large-project review markets unless separately agreed in writing.
3. Ordering and Payment
Payment terms:
- Project review / design work: deposit or service fee as stated in the written scope
- Cabinetry production: production deposit after technical confirmation and design lock
- Shipment balance: before shipment or according to the agreed milestone schedule
- Installation-supported projects: final balance and sign-off terms stated in the project agreement
Accepted payment methods may include T/T bank transfer, L/C, Wise or card payment for deposits where available. Currency and final payment terms are stated in the quotation or PI.
4. Design Lock Clause
After the client or partner confirms drawings, materials, hardware, dimensions, service boundary and quotation scope, both parties may sign or otherwise confirm a Design Lock or production confirmation record. Changes requested after design lock are treated as scope changes and may require additional fees, revised timelines or updated quotations.
5. Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines are best estimates based on standard production schedules. Actual timelines may vary due to project complexity, client responsiveness, or force majeure events (natural disasters, shipping delays, customs delays, etc.). We commit to transparent communication if delays occur.
6. Refund Policy
A summary of our refund policy is provided on our Pricing page. For full details, please review our complete Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client owns the agreed final deliverables, such as drawings, quotation documents, material schedules, packing lists, installation guides and project files. Cozi retains the right to use completed work in our portfolio, marketing materials, and case studies unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing. Client must make such request before or at the time of Design Lock.
8. Export / Delivery Terms
Export or delivery terms are stated in the quotation, PI or project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed:
- COZI provides agreed shipping and customs documentation
- The buyer or importer is responsible for import duties, customs clearance fees, local taxes and local compliance unless separately agreed
- Local delivery, site access, unloading and installation responsibility must be clarified before production
- US / Canada, UK / EU and other regulated markets require compliance review before any bulk cabinet sourcing decision
9. Limitation of Liability
Cozi's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, project delays caused by third parties, or damages resulting from client-provided incorrect measurements.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation for a period of 30 days. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with international arbitration rules.
11. Governing Law
Governing law, dispute venue and applicable commercial terms are stated in the individual project agreement, quotation, PI or partner agreement where applicable.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
